Dr Ranjit Shah
Dr Ranjit Shah is a clinical cardiologist with a special interest in cardiac MRI, echocardiography, valvular heart disease and heart failure.
Having graduated in Medicine from the University of Calcutta (India), he studied for 2 years in the UK and then moved on to Australia where he completed his Basic Physician Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology from The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (2014).
Dr Shah is currently doing a PhD at the Flinders Medical Centre, where he is investigating the utility of cardiac MRI in the diagnosis of asymptomatic coronary artery disease in chronic kidney disease patients.
He sees patients with the full spectrum of adult cardiology problems, but has special interest in echocardiography, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathies, and heart failure.
Dr Shah is linguistically fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali.
