Making an Appointment
For all appointments and enquiries, please contact Heart & Vascular on (08) 8172 4200. Alternatively, you may wish to contact a location directly or email info@heartandvascular.com.au.
Consultations and cardiac services are available by appointment only.
You will need to have a referral from your GP or Medical specialist. This can be sent to us prior to your appointment or can be brought with you to your appointment.
What to bring to your Appointment
You will need to bring the following to your appointment:
- Current Referral (if you have not already sent that through)
- Medicare or Veterans Affairs card
- Pension or Healthcare Concession card
- Health fund information.
- A list of your current medications.
Cancellations
We realise that unusual circumstances may arise which make it impossible for you to keep your appointment. Should you need to cancel your appointment, 24 hours’ notice would be appreciated.
Fees
Heart & Vascular is a private cardiology service provider and requires full payment for your account on the day of your appointment. If your appointment is eligible for a Medicare rebate, then a portion of the account will be rebated to you by Medicare, noting that not all appointments and/or tests attract a Medicare rebate.
Please be aware that some appointments attract an out-of-pocket fee. This will be highlighted by the Admin team at the time of booking.
Heart & Vascular attempt to keep our gap payments to a minimum whilst ensuring that we can continue to provide the highest level of cardiac care.
Payment of accounts can be made by:
- Cash
- Credit Card (Visa & Mastercard)
- EFTPOS
- Cheque
Heart & Vascular is registered with Medicare for online claiming. To expedite your Medicare rebate payment into your bank account we recommend that you register your details with Medicare prior to your appointment
- Online – Medicare online account via myGov or Express plus Medicare app
- In person – lodging a completed bank details form at a Medicare Service centre

Immediately following your appointment, the clinic will submit the details of your appointment/test to Medicare electronically. The Medicare rebate will appear into your registered bank account in 24-48 hours.
