Exercise Stress Echo (Exercise ECG)
What is the purpose?
Treadmill Exercise Testing (or Exercise Stress Test) is a test designed to look at the response of the heart to increased levels of exercise. People are referred for a variety of reasons:

Investigation of chest pain or breathlessness

The capacity to undertake physical activities or occupation

The assessment of prognosis following heart problems

The effect of treatment on symptoms
If at any time during the test you are feeling unwell, report the symptom immediately. It takes approximately 30 minutes.
