Dr Chahadi is a cardiologist and Electrophysiologist. He completed his cardiology training at the Austin Hospital in Melbourne followed by three year fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Flinders Medical Centre. Apart from general cardiology, his areas of expertise is in the assessment and management of cardiac arrhythmias and syncope as well as implantation of all types of pacemakers used in the management of bradycardia, tachycardia, and heart failure.

He also has expertise in performing simple and complex electrophysiological studies and radiofrequency ablation for the management of cardiac arrhythmias. He is one of 326 electrophysiologists world-wide who is certified to perform catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation using the HANSEN robotic system which he performs at Flinders Private Hospital.

Dr Chahadi is a staff specialist at Flinders Medical Centre. He is well published and is actively involved in national and international research and clinical trials.
